Mission Statement Because we are Democrats who care about our party, we choose to work within the party to accomplish our primary purpose which is the legal protection of the unborn. We will mobilize California Democrats to Elect pro-life Democrats to office Support pro-life Democrats while in an elected position Promote a pro-life plank in the Democratic Party platform Achieve legislation that protects unborn human life Participate actively in Democratic party functions and offices Advocating the sacrificing of a woman's child as a way to solve her problems is inconsistent with the Democratic philosophy of compassionate government. Suppressing the pro-life voice within the party is also inconsistent with the image of the Democratic Party as the party of tolerance and free speech. Pro-life Democrats must insist on a consistent life ethic and must insist that they be allowed to take their rightful place in the party.
